Create Lists of Your Favorite Recipes
Welcome to Day 14 of the Whip Your Kitchen Into Shape challenge! If you missed the introduction to the challenge, go here to find out all about it.
This week we'll be focusing all on recipes and meal planning. This is definitely my favorite part of the challenge!
Today's task should be fairly simple. Now that you have all your recipes organized and have chosen a meal planning system, create a list of your favorite tried and true recipes. Just having a simple list of your top 20 recipes and where to find them will make meal planning much easier. You can also go the next step and make a list of some of the recipes you'd like to try. I like to use mostly tried and true recipes. Then I'll try 1 to 2 new recipes each month.
Also, if you chose a digital system like Plan to Eat, now would be the time to enter your favorite recipes in to the system.
The printables pictured are found in my recipe binder kit.
Today's Assignment: Create a list of your favorite recipes along with where they are found, so meal planning will be easier. (If you use a digital planning system such as Plan to Eat now would be the time to input your favorite recipes into the system). As a bonus, you can also create a list of new recipes you'd like to try soon.
Then stop by our challenge Facebook group to let us know how it went, or share photos on Instagram with the hashtag #KitchenChallenge. I can't wait to see your progress!

I keep a list of things we eat often (that don’t require recipes) and then I have a recipe binder of all the new things I’ve been making (after trying them and fixing the recipes to suit our home, of course). That second list is also more “fancy” dinners, so I normally only do one of those a week, and stick with the simple stuff the rest of the time. But when I’m doing my meal planning and just don’t know what to put down, it’s great to have that list of simple stuff to grab from!
